Bilal bin Rabah's lineage and his condition before Islam:
Bilal bin Rabah, may God be pleased with him, is Bilal bin Rabah al-Habashi, the muezzin of Abu Bakr al-Siddiq, who bought him and then released him, and he had a treasurer, and the Messenger of God was a muezzin, and he was the true Islam, pure in heart. And the name of his father, Rabah, and the name of his mother dove.
He was born three years or less after the elephant accident, and he was a man of severe skin, thin, tall, and ragged [1], with a lot of hair, light as exhibitors.
The story of Islam Bilal bin Rabah:
He was one of the first to Islam, and it was narrated that the Messenger of God and Abu Bakr retired in a cave, and while they were so, Bilal passed by them while he was in the sheep of Abdullah bin Jadaan, and Bilal was born from the two birthers of Mecca. And Abdullah had a hundred born kings in Makkah. When God sent his prophet, he commanded them, and they drove them out of Mecca except Bilal on whom his sheep grazed. Then the Messenger of God raised his head from that cave, and said: "O shepherd, is there milk?" Bilal said: I have nothing but a sheep that is my strength. If you like, I prefer you with its milk today. The Messenger of God said: "Bring it."
So he brought her and called the Messenger of God by his heels [2] so the Messenger of God arrested her and he milked in al-Kaab until he filled it, then he drank until it was irrigated, then he milked until he filled it, and Abu Bakr was watered, then he milked until he filled it and he was watered with Bilal until it was watered, then he sent it when it was more beautiful, then he said: You in Islam? For I am the Messenger of God. " He embraced Islam and said: "Conceal your Islam." So he did, and departed with his sheep, and spent them with weak milk, so his family said to him: You have pastured well, so you have to with it. So he returned to him for three days to draw them and learn Islam, until the polytheists learned of his conversion to Islam, so they tortured him severely.
The status and virtue of Bilal bin Rabah:
Muslim narrated with his chain of narration on the authority of Abu Hurairah, may God bless him, said: The Messenger of God said to Bilal, upon the morning prayer: “O Bilal, tell me about the hope that I have done for you in Islam for a benefit. Bilal, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: I have not done any work in Islam.
Al-Bukhari narrated with his chain of transmission on the authority of Jabir bin Abdullah, may God bless him, who said: Umar, may God bless him and grant him peace, used to say: “Abu Bakr is our master, and he freed our master,” meaning Bilal.
Bilal, t was the first to give the call to prayer, and he was the Messenger of the Prophet On the authority of Zaid bin Arqam, may God bless him, he said: The Messenger of God said: “Yes, Bilal is the master of the muezzins, and only the muezzin will follow him, and the muezzins are the longest necks of people on the Day of Resurrection.”
The impact of the Messenger on the upbringing of Bilal bin Rabah:
On the authority of Abdullah bin Muhammad bin al-Hanafiyyah, he said: My father and I set out for a son-in-law from the Ansar, whom we would return, so I attended the prayer, and he said to some of his family: O slave girl, bring ablution so that I may pray and rest. He said: We denied that to him, so he said: I heard the Messenger of God say: "Get up, Bilal, so give us rest in prayer."
Bilal, t, was brought up and taught in the school of prophethood. He accompanied the Prophet a lot, which had a great impact on his personality t. The Prophet discovered his talent, skill and dew voice, so he ordered him to call to prayer, so he was the first muezzin in Islam.
The most important features of Bilal bin Rabah's character:
Patience and steadfastness for the sake of Allah:
Abdullah bin Masoud, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “The first to demonstrate his conversion to Islam were seven: the Messenger of God, Abu Bakr, Ammar, and his mother Sumaya, Suhaib, Bilal, and Al-Miqdad. As for the Messenger of God, God prevented him from his uncle Abu Talib, and as for Abu Bakr, may God prevent him from his people. The rest of them, so the polytheists took them and wore iron armor and melted them in the sun, so none of them did not come to them as they wanted, except Bilal, for he himself humiliated him in God, and he humiliated his people, so they took him and they gave him the boys, so they circled him in the reefs of Makkah while saying: One of Uhud.
Umayyah ibn Khalaf used to take him out when the noon was hot, then he would throw him on his back in the baking of Mecca, then order the great rock on his chest, and then say: He continues on that until he dies or is atoning for Muhammad. And he says while he is: one.
Some of Bilal bin Rabah's positions with the Messenger:
Al-Bukhari narrated with his chain of narration, on the authority of Abdullah bin Abi Qatada, on the authority of his father, who said: We walked with the Prophet one night, and some of the people said: If you had sex with us, O Messenger of God. He said: "I am afraid that you will sleep for prayer." Bilal said: I wake you up, so lie down. Bilal leaned his back on his journey, and his eyes overcame him, and he fell asleep, so the Prophet woke up with the sun visor rising, and said: “Oh Bilal, where have you said?” He said: I have never been given a sleep like it. He said: “God took your souls when He wanted, and returned them to you whenever He wanted. O Bilal, arise and he authorized people to pray.”
On the authority of Abu Saeed Al-Khudri, may God bless him and grant him peace, on the authority of Bilal, may God bless him and grant him peace, he said: The Messenger of God said: “Oh Bilal, make God the poor and not the rich.” He said: I said: How can I do that, O Messenger of God? He said: "If you live, do not hide, and if you are asked, do not prevent." He said: I said: How can I do that, O Messenger of God? He said, "It is that, otherwise it is the fire."

He said: Yes, if you will. Then Bilal performed the prayer, and Abu Bakr, may God bless him and grant him peace, went forward and prayed, so the Prophet came walking in the rows, cutting them apart until he got up in the first row, then the people took the armor [3], and Abu Bakr, may God bless him and grant him peace, did not turn around in his prayer. Then Abu Bakr raised his hands and praised God, then returned to retreat behind him, and the Prophet advanced and prayed.
With Ibn Omar:
Muslim narrated with his chain of narration on the authority of Ibn Umar that the Messenger of God entered the Kaaba with Usama, Bilal, and Othman bin Talha Al-Hijbi, so he closed it to him and then stayed there.
